Traveling Sheet Metal Superintendent Matlock Mechanical is a nationally recognized mechanical contracting company based in Jackson, TN, specializing exclusively in commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to join our team. This is a traveling position requiring frequent statewide and nationwide travel to oversee commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal installations. Per diem is provided and varies based on project location.

Pay Range: $32 - $45 per hour, depending on experience

Per Diem provided for all travel assignments; rate varies based on project location.

Work Hours: A typical work week consists of 50+ hours.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial sheet metal experience
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Proficiency with rectangular duct, spiral ductwork, and roof curb equipment
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical plans
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both in-state and out-of-state
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
