Location: Clearwater, FL 

Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated  Electrical Department Supervisor to lead a dynamic team in the production of industrial surface finishing equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves overseeing the electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced manufacturing machinery, including PLCs, motor drives, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the electrical team in building and troubleshooting machines such as  plating lines, washers, ovens , and other automated systems
• Assign tasks and manage daily production to meet delivery timelines
• Read, analyze, and troubleshoot  electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with  NEC, OSHA , and internal quality standards
• Partner with mechanical and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
• Travel occasionally for equipment installation and startup at client sites
• Manage department tools, test equipment, and inventory levels
• Provide hands-on support and training to team members
• Document electrical procedures and testing protocols
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating electrical staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Master Electrician or Certified Electrical Contractor a plus)
• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience (preferably in manufacturing or custom builds)
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proficiency with  PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred) , VFDs, and control panels
• Skilled in  machine wiring, panel construction , and system validation
• Familiarity with  CE, UL, NEC, OSHA standards and safety compliance
• Able to read complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings
