Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager Join to apply for the Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Position Summary Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC), and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal service, external service, and building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees; monitors staffing levels; ensures training systems fully implemented; identifies and develops internal candidates; creates a friendly, fun, clean, safe environment; treats all employees with care and respect; motivates and inspires employees; understands JIB systems; complies with labor laws. External Service: Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operation; ensures guests receive an exceptional experience; monitors adherence to JIB systems, procedures, food safety; reviews practices and modifies as needed; maintains visibility and interaction with guests; responds to concerns promptly; maintains brand image. Higher Profits: Partners with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance including I&E, quality and service reports, health inspections, HACCP; identifies trends and develops action plans; uses data to analyze business results; protects the JIB brand; monitors costs and adherence to budget and goals. Qualifications Education – High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience – Internal Promote: Minimum 1+ years as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations. External Recruit: Minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Must be at least 18 years old; complete Assistant Manager training classes; ServSafe certified; speak/read/write English; interpersonal skills; basic math; analytical skills; organization; self‑starter; PC usage; valid driver’s license; insurance; personal vehicle for bank deposits/travel. Physical Requirements – Ability to stand/walk 85%-95% of shift; lift 10‑65 lbs; move freely; operate equipment; drive motor vehicle; use computer keyboard.
