2024-2025/89 IT Support Specialist As of July 21, 2025 Job Listing : IT Support Specialist Job Description: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing technical support and help to users across the organization both on network and remote, configuration and roll out of user computers, as well as overseeing the implementation of end user applications and training. The Support Specialist will also need work with vendors to administer and maintain user applications. Other duties include managing application support contracts. Job Requirements: An ideal candidate should possess a Comptia A+ certification and one year of desktop support experience. The person in this role will be the first point of contact for resolving hardware, software, and network related issue for users. Therefore, the IT Support Specialist candidate needs strong communication and computer skills that will allow them to assist a wide range of employees with issues they encounter while working in WPLG's computing environment. The ability to troubleshoot all types of computer issues from authentication, to applications, to failed hardware is essential. Knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft, domains, operating systems and applications required. The preferred candidate needs to be able to add and delete users to a Microsoft Active Directory domain as well as Office 365 and other Broadcast related applications.
