*Wilder Animal Hospital* is seeking a DVM who loves long walks on the beach, sunset cruises, wine-tasting and being part of an incredible veterinary team. We are a _*privately-owned*_ general practice consisting of 4 doctors (and two additional DVMs that regularly do relief with us), multiple RVT and RVT-eligible technicians, and a dedicated staff that is here to make your job easy. We have all the bells and whistles to support you as you provide excellent care for your patients. We have digital radiology, digital dental radiology, a brand new Samsung ultrasound, class IV laser, a full suite of in-house IDEXX laboratory machines, iSTAT, a flexible nasal rhinoscope, and more. We have a dedicated clientele that have been with us for nearly a decade (when we were associates, before opening Wilder) in addition to a stable, skilled, and fun-loving team.

Do you have a special interest? We would love to support you. We have one associate that is certified in acupuncture and eastern medicine, another who dabbles in exotics, and a third who thrives on emergency and urgent care cases.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong desire to be part of a cohesive team, and a strong grasp of medicine and surgery. We all love animals, but to be successful at our clinic, you need to like people too.

Our hospital was established in 2022 and has since been serving Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito and the surrounding areas with loving and skilled veterinary care for dogs and cats. We are full service, catering to a mixed clientele of working class to the uber wealthy. We have been nominated Best Veterinary Clinic of Santa Barbara (SB Independent's reader poll) every year since we opened, and this year we WON! We are open 5 days a week (M-F) from 8am - 7pm, and our support staff works four 10-hr shifts per week. We do not require any on-call or after-hours emergencies, as we have two excellent ERs just a few minutes away. We have multiple specialists in town who are happy to consult anytime you need a board-certified opinion. We do welcome urgent-care appointments and emergencies so our days can sometimes be packed. We like to work hard while we are here, and then go have fun when we are done!
