Role: Sr. Systems and Network Engineer (ONLY on W2 Please - No H1s)

Location: Walnut Creek, CA or Reno, NV

Type: Contract

Length: 6 months to start, likely extensions

Must Have:

• Hardware, operating systems, systems software, and communications technologies including VMware virtualization, RH Linux, Windows Server 2016+, Intel-based servers.
• Storage systems and applications including RAID, NAS, SAN, Veeam backup software.
• Network technologies and products including Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Fortinet SD-WAN, TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, and Cisco Meraki wireless communications.
• Security tools including Active Directory, Azure AD, Fortinet firewalls, Crowdstrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender 365, SIEM tools
• Systems and network monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Logic Monitor etc.

Good to Have:

• Hybrid connections between on-premises infrastructure and Azure.
• Azure networking services, including VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Azure Bastion, and Azure Load Balancer.
• Building and operating standardized/normalized, automated, secure, and self-service cloud platforms for engineering teams, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps.

The salary range provided for this contract role represents our good faith estimate for this position. Within the range, individual offers will vary based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process (W2 or C2C).
