Job Title: Sanitation Associate – Graveyard Shift (Sterling Pacific Meat Company)
Location: Commerce, CA
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:30 PM – 5:00 AM
About the Job:
Reputable meat company is seeking an experienced and dependable Sanitation Associate to join our team on the graveyard shift . This position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant facility. The ideal candidate will have prior sanitation and safety experience in a meat or food production environment and be comfortable working overnight in a cold environment .
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize meat processing equipment, tools, and production areas
Follow all USDA, food safety, and sanitation protocols
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies
Remove debris, mop, pressure wash, and disinfect work areas
Maintain sanitation records and report safety concerns
Work efficiently and independently during overnight hours
Requirements:
Previous sanitation experience in a meat or food manufacturing facility required
Strong knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene standards
Comfortable working in a cold environment
Reliable and punctual for overnight shifts
Able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment):
Work Boots
Bumper Hat
Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
Monday–Friday | 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM
