Temp - Patient Access Representative (Days)

We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Representative to support front-end operations at Berkshire Health Systems Urgent Care. This 13-week contract offers steady hours and the opportunity to work within a high-performing, safety-ranked healthcare system.

Position: Patient Access Representative

Location: Pittsfield, MA (Berkshire Health Systems Urgent Care)

Employment Type: Temporary | 13 Weeks

Start Date: 12/8/2025

Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week guaranteed)

Compensation: $20 - $24/hour

On Call: None

Weekend Requirements: None (holiday coverage if required)

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years recent hospital or urgent care Patient Access/Registration experience – Required
• Ability to work independently and step in immediately – Required
• High school diploma – Required
• Strong registration, insurance, and confidentiality skills – Required
• Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available)
• All RTO must be submitted at time of profile

Role Responsibilities:

• Register patients, verify insurance, and process documentation
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compassionate service
• Support daily front-desk workflow and patient check-in/out
