Requirements Managing all bookings through the Beautify app. Being on time for all appointments and performing services within the time allotted. Providing exceptional customer service. Listening to the needs of clients to determine their preferences. Handling client questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Adhering to all standards for client service and cleanliness. Cleaning all client‑provided workspace at the end of the appointment. Demonstrating your personal style while adhering to the Beautify dress code. Showing consideration for the comfort of clients by practicing good hygiene and limiting excessive scents (i.e., smoke, perfume, etc.). Consulting with clients and creating custom looks based on their specifications. Evaluating the condition of the client’s skin and advising them on proper skincare and suitable skincare treatments. Applying simple and complex makeup as required. Color matching across all skin tones. Assisting with the appropriate removal of makeup. Cleaning and maintaining makeup applicators and tools. Maintaining a working knowledge of products and being informed of the latest trends and techniques. Regularly attending, participating in, and supporting training and staff meetings. Participating in all sales, promotions, and brand‑building events. Performing other job‑related duties as required. Essentials for Success Diploma or certificate from a vocational school in cosmetology, makeup, or relevant study. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong listening and verbal communication skills. Ability to work without direct supervision (self‑motivated). Capability to use mobile apps and other technology to view scheduled appointments, attend meetings, and complete other job‑related tasks as required. Willingness to work as a team. Proven experience as a makeup artist. Knowledge of makeup techniques.
