Human Resources Intern (Unpaid)

Regal Boats is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and eager to learn more about the human resources field in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, resume reviews, and interview coordination.
  2. Support onboarding processes, such as preparing new hire materials.
  3. Help maintain HR files and employee records.
  4. Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  5. Learn and contribute to HR projects, processes, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with HR software or HRIS systems.
  2. Prior internship or office experience in HR or administrative work.
  3. Interest in pursuing a career in human resources.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role may require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds.
