Job Title: Travel Superintendent

Schedule: Monday–Thursday (3-Day Weekends)

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial construction projects throughout the Midwest. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities.

• Manage subcontractors, schedules, and project timelines.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.

• Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.

• Ability to travel throughout the Midwest region (Monday–Thursday schedule).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and project documentation.

This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
