Job Title: CNC Operator - 1st Shift Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in North Mankato. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain accurate production records and adhere to company safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions.
Proficiency in interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and engineering prints and drawings.
Ability to perform mathematical operations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Problem-solving skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Experience in reading blueprints, routing sheets, and test specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; or nine to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Capable of consistently maintaining production rates and a high level of quality.
Ability to work with limited supervision and in a team environment.
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards.

The work environment is an open production space that is very clean and well-lit throughout the building. Some stations may be louder than others due to the machinery in that area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
