About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to oversee and manage its compliance program. The CCO will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Committee, preparing and implementing the annual Compliance Work Plan, and ensuring that all reporting requirements are met. This role involves the development, maintenance, and revision of policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct, as well as the management of a company-wide compliance program in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HIPAA. Key responsibilities for the CCO include identifying and addressing compliance vulnerabilities, providing guidance on compliance issues, and collaborating with other departments to ensure proper investigation and resolution. The successful candidate will also be tasked with providing regular compliance reports, maintaining a reporting system for compliance issues, and working with the HR department to develop and implement an effective compliance training program. Additionally, the CCO will oversee the confidential disclosure and hotline programs, conduct internal investigations, and ensure that appropriate corrective and disciplinary actions are taken in response to compliance violations. The role requires a proactive approach to compliance, with a focus on promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the organization.
