About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance Officer and CAMLO for Canada. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of compliance in a high-growth market, with a focus on the ongoing CIRO Investment Dealer application. This role demands a leader who can identify and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, stay ahead of regulatory developments, and effectively communicate with senior management and the Board of Directors. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be responsible for managing regulatory notifications, overseeing compliance risk assessments, and ensuring that policies and training are up to date. A key aspect of the role is to partner with internal stakeholders to integrate compliance obligations into new product and expansion initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance, including senior leadership roles, and possess direct knowledge of Canadian Securities and Financial Crime Regulation. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing regulatory license applications, developing internal controls, and processes, and a strong ability to work with global teams. The ideal candidate will have the CSI Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Examination and professional compliance qualifications.
