Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a Call Center Agent to join their team. As a Call Center Agent, you will be part of the Patient Services team supporting patients, families, and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as proficiency in PC skills and data entry.
This a contract-to hire opportunity that will work 100% onsite up to first 6-months in Baltimore, MD 21209. During this time period, contractors are expected to remain committed to their designated shift for the duration of the contract. Once the contractor converts to a permanent employee, the schedule will switch to hybrid and require you to be onsite once a month, working remotely otherwise).
The normal shift for this opening will be 5 days a week (8hr shifts)
Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm or 4 days a week (10hr shifts).
The first 90 days is training which is fully onsite and will be conducted in different shifts:
1st month Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd month Sunday - Thursday 2:00pm-10:30pm
3rd Month (Normal Shift) Tuesday - Saturday 2:00pm-10:30pm

What's the Job?
Process a high volume of incoming calls for organization institutions.
Provide directory assistance, patient information, paging services, and physician's answering services.
Ensure proper on-call scheduling and pager database maintenance.
Use search criteria to find information and perform duties.
Remain calm and composed during an emergency or crisis.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or higher education.
1+ Year of Call Center experience.
General PC skills, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite, use of the internet and data entry skills.
Keyboard-must type at least 35-40 wpm.
Excellent verbal and written communication, telephone manner, interviewing and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff, families, members of the health care team and external agencies.
