🔧 Position Summary:

We are currently hiring Certified Pipe Welders to support our mechanical construction projects. This role requires a highly skilled welder with up-to-date certifications and a strong background in welding carbon and stainless steel piping systems in commercial and industrial environments. You must be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of producing code-compliant welds in accordance with ASME or AWS standards.

💼 Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon and stainless steel piping systems

• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedure specifications (WPS)

• Execute precise layout and fitting of pipe prior to welding

• Complete high-quality welds that meet certification standards (ASME/AWS)

• Assist in pressure testing and inspection of piping systems

• Maintain proper documentation of weld logs and certifications

• Follow all company, site, and OSHA safety regulations

• Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and project management teams

🎯 Qualifications:

• Current welding certification (ASME Section IX or AWS D1.1/D1.6 preferred)

• Minimum 3 years of experience welding pipe in commercial or industrial settings

• Proficient in TIG and Stick welding on carbon and stainless steel

• Ability to pass on-site weld test

• Strong skills in blueprint reading, pipe layout, and fit-up

• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)

• Must have own welding hood, basic hand tools, and PPE

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
