Job Description
- 4 Day work schedule 10 hours a day.
- 5:00am - 3:30pm
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- May be asked to cover other drivers' vacations/ day off request
Drives automatic and standard tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver materials or products within multiple Imperial buildings. On occasion driver may be required to do customer deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Drives truck to destination.
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Maintains driver log according to I.C.C. regulations
- Assists workers in loading and unloading truck
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel
- Required to be reachable by cell phone when on duty
- During 1st shift hours
- Primary duties: Shuttle trailers between 2 buildings
- Local Backhauls
- Yard Coverage
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
