Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate according to print specifications using MIG and TIG welding methods
• Operate fabrication machinery such as brake presses, shears, and plate rollers
• Assemble large fabricated units
• Set up and adjust welders, identifying steel wire alloys and corresponding gas mixes
• Recognize common steel alloys and apply the appropriate welding procedures

Qualifications:

• Three years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of welder setup, steel wire alloys, and gas mixes
• Experience with operating brake presses, shears, and plate rollers is preferred

Additional Information:

• Full-time, on-site position with a 10-hour shift schedule
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
