Validation Engineer

Job Duties:

• In this role, this engineer will be part of a highly technical team that develops test plans, completes functional & electrical validation, & debugs issues for new processor silicon interface features with strong focus power and performance attainment and optimization.
• We are looking for an engineer with experience in power or performance attainment of features of CPU, GPU, or APUs.
• This person should thrive in a matrixed environment spanning multiple countries and time zones.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop test plans in collaboration with architects, firmware, and IP-specific engineering teams to ensure products meet or exceed performance targets.
• Execute power and performance studies to support business development.
• Validate and tune product features post-silicon.
• Set up and debug systems under test.

Preferred Experience :

• Experience validating power or performance features of CPUs, GPUs, or APUs.
• Familiarity with graphics, core, and gaming-focused workloads.
• Familiarity with the use of data acquisition and thermal equipment.
• Experience analyzing and presenting data using Power BI, Sigma, or similar.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multi-site technical organization.
• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of related experience; or Masters plus at least 5 years directly related experience (an advanced degree will be considered a plus);
