As an Urban Gardener at Growing Green, you'll have the opportunity to transform outdoor spaces into beautiful botanical masterpieces. We maintain lush container gardens, vibrant flower beds, and thriving landscapes for our valued clients.

Each day will be an opportunity to showcase your skills, creativity, and passion for plants. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around creating and maintaining stunning outdoor spaces for our clients.

You can expect that your days will vary throughout the year. Some months are concentrated on planting seasonal displays in beds and containers, while other months are spent caring for these plantings by watering, fertilizing, pinching, pruning and monitoring/treating for pests. Your keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring every outdoor area looks amazing throughout the year. Your expected schedule for this full-time position will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some overtime is expected during busy periods.

To thrive as an Urban Gardener at Growing Green, there are a few key skills and tools that will be essential for your success. First and foremost, you should have a genuine passion for plants! Being a great communicator and team player is also essential. You'll communicate daily with your clients and addressing any concerns or requests they may have. While a degree or certification in horticulture or a related field is beneficial, hands-on experience and a proven track record of creating stunning outdoor spaces will also be highly valued.
