Position Overview
CG Infinity is seeking a Mid-Level Unified API Consultant to design, implement, and optimize API integration solutions that unify disparate systems and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API management platforms, AWS cloud services, and modern integration patterns. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement unified API solutions to integrate multiple backend systems and third-party services.
• Develop and maintain API gateways and microservices architectures using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Ensure API security through authentication, authorization, and encryption using AWS IAM, Cognito, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical API specifications.
• Optimize API performance and scalability through caching, throttling, and load balancing strategies.
• Implement monitoring and logging for APIs using AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for API deployments using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Troubleshoot API integration issues and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Stay updated on emerging API technologies, AWS services, and integration best practices.

 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in API development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and JSON/XML data formats.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, S3).
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other API security standards.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with API management tools (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
• Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) for API deployments.
• Exposure to multi-cloud API strategies and hybrid integration patterns.
