Job Details

• Position Overview: The Walk In Clinic Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and AVH policies. The nurse provides clinical care in collaboration with other clinic staff and assists with administrative duties, as needed, under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse and Providers.

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or urgent care.

Schedule Information

• Guaranteed Hours: While we can't guarantee hours on our contracts, your traveler will be scheduled for around 36-40 hours per week. We do not downstaff, so they are essentially guaranteed hours.

Additional Details

• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It's extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs. $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt. Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.
• Not accepting any RTO. Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation).
