Charting System: Cerner (preferred)

Contract & Position Details:

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day | 4x12-hour shifts/week | 07:00 – 19:00
• Shifts Per Week: 4
• Schedule: No block scheduling; weekend block may be considered
• Travelers Must Work: As needed on weekends & holidays
• Number of Positions: 1

Unit Details:

• Bed Count: 45 beds
• Daily Census: ~42 patients
• Patient Demographic: Adults, Geriatrics
• Patient Ratio (Days): Goal 1:5 | Typically 1:6–1:7
• Common Diagnoses:
  • CHF
  • AKI/CKI
  • Hypo-/Hyperglycemia (stable; no insulin drips)
  • Bariatric, GI, Ortho
  • Post-op ortho patients
• Special Equipment: None specified
• Procedures:
  • Medsurg with telemetry
  • Heparin titration protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
  • Travel Experience: Required (at least 1 completed travel assignment)
  • Level I Trauma Center Experience: Required
  • Large hospital experience: Required
• Licensure:
  • Active Tennessee RN License or Compact RN License
  • Pending licenses not accepted
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA required)
  • NIHSS
  • ACLS (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• IV starts
• Telemetry
• Cerner charting experience

Travelers Must Live: At least 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted) RNs may float between like units and campuses within 20 miles, though this is rare unless specifically posted
