Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - CVICU

Shift:  Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)

Requirements:

• TN license
  
• 2 years experience
• Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required
• Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT

Other Details:

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Floating policy: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICU’s but can include other floors

Number of Beds : 16Patient Ratios : 1:2, 1:1 for certain device patientsUnit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F 0. Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech dutiesType of equipment : Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumpsScheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)Patient Experience requirements: None specific
