First Connect Health is seeking a travel Echo Technician for a travel job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 8 hours, days

Contract Details:

• Start Date: 09/15/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 5x8 hrs (variable start times between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional weekends, possible call coverage
• Location: Madison, WI Local Radius: Must live 50+ miles from facility

 

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent cardiac sonography experience (prefer 2–3 years)
• Registered in echocardiography (RCS or RDCS)
• BLS (AHA only)
• Travel experience required
• Must perform 7 scans/day efficiently
• Trauma Level I & II experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Able to float between main hospital & clinic locations

Skills:

• Adult Echo, 2D/3D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Contrast Imaging
• Procedures in ICU/ED settings
• IV Certification preferred
• Equipment: GE, Philips, PACS

Unit Details:

• ECHO/Vascular Lab – IAC accredited, ASE protocol
• Common cases: TAVR, VAD, ECMO, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, strain imaging, mitral clip follow-up, pericardial disease, transplant follow-up
• Special procedures: UEA Definity/Optison, Agitated Saline Bubble Studies
• Support: Interpretation services, cardiologists, interdisciplinary team
• Floating between UW Highland Ave + clinics (Arbor Gate, East Madison)
