IFPTE seeks to hire a temporary external Union Organizer for a minimum of 6 months. This assignment could be extended depending on the needs of the campaign. This individual will work closely with a campaign team focused on executing campaigns to assist non-union professional workers to build their Union and win a Union contract.
IFPTE is looking for candidates who have at least 1-2 years of experience organizing and representing workers in the labor movement.

Candidates should have a minimum of 1-2 years in union organizing and representation or related experience. Organizing will take place in greater Los Angeles area and beyond in Southern California.
Compensation is highly competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications. The salary range is $110,000 – $123,000 annually, with an outstanding benefits package including 100% employer-paid family medical coverage.
Work can include long, irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. A valid Driver’s License, car, and insurability are a requirement for this position.
