Job Description
We are seeking a Telephone Triage Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

Learn office documentation process using EPIC system for patient phone calls, medication refills, documenting patient visit vitals and measurements, chief complaints, medication administration in the office especially immunizations, injectables, oral medications, breathing treatments, how to attach outside reports to chart and message ordering provider that reports are ready for review. Learn to respond to MyChart inquiries by patients.
Review and use pediatric telephone advice protocols as written by Barton Schmitt, MD- available in nurses’ office for reading. Answer/document patient phone calls when required.
Administer immunizations, perform weight checks or lab tests as required when covering the PEMR nurse visit schedule and document in EPIC chart.
