We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in San Ramon, California. This role is in the accounting industry where you will be stepping into a seasonal role. You will be supporting an experienced tax team with various tasks including preparing business returns.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software for processing various tax returns.
• Prepare and review business tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of personal tax returns.
• Support the team in bookkeeping functions when necessary.
• Manage the preparation of trust returns.
• Ensure accurate data entry in customer credit records.
• Participate in scanning, filing, and general office support tasks.
• Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software and Intuit Lacerte is required.
