Job Salary: $115,000 - $120,000

Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level two Systems Network Engineer position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will provide system management support focusing on design, specification, integration and implementation and integration of enterprise-wide, large- management architecture operating on complex distributed networks with multiple classification enclaves and integrated with DoD C2 systems utilizing associated information assurance processes/procedures.

Skills / Experience Required

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI
• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience as Senior Network Engineer for program/project of similar size and scope
• 2+ years of experience as Senior Network Engineer supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope
• Enterprise Systems management services will support implementation, configuration and management of the following technologies (including performance management):
• Network devices (switches and routers)
• Server operating systems
• VMware/Nutanix virtualization infrastructure
• Server application monitoring
• VoIP telephony
• SolarWinds network and server management suites
• DHCP/DNS/IPAM experience
• Palo Alto firewall
• IPS/IDS
• vRealize Operations & Configuration Manager
• Modern server series installation, advanced disk subsystem and networking configuration
• Server disaster recovery
• Data at Rest protection
• DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS)
• DoD Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS)
• Oracle and MS-SQL database
• Log Management
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Red Seal
• Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Minimum Certifications Required: Server+ or Linux+

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater
• CCNA+Security or CySA or GICSP or GSEC or Security+CE pr CND or SSCP

Security Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
