Surgery Technician

This position is eligible for a CRITICAL POSITION BONUS equal to $10,000.00. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE is offered for this position as well.

Current employees are not eligible for this bonus.

• In order to be eligible for the bonus candidates must have two years Clinical/ Hospital operating room experience and graduate of surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or 5 years Clinical/Hospital operating room experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses and other professionals in the operating room and endoscopy suites.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of healthcare experience
• Knowledge of Surgical Instruments and Procedures
• Knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology
• Able to multi-task; Able to work independently and with others.

PREFERRED:

• Two years Clinical/ Hospital operating room experience and/or
• Graduate of surgery technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• One Year of Sterile Processing Experience.
• Surgery Tech Certificate
