Earth Electric Inc is a small but solid solar installation company in the San Jose, CA area. We are currently seeking a team player and experienced installer to join our existing crew.

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience installing solar and storage, preferably at a small to mid-size company.
• Must have knowledge of Enphase, SolarEdge, and Tesla systems and demonstrate knowledge of products and processes including solar panels, mounts, electrical code and planset comprehension. Ability to commission all systems highly desired.

Job Description

• Complete installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and battery ESS storage systems on roof tops according to specified design.
• Penetrating, attaching, sealing into a variety of buildings and roofing materials.
• Installing mounts, module racking, wire runs, conduit, inverters, disconnects, subpanels, main panels and other equipment as necessary.
• Collect data and photos during and at the end of each project. Think ahead, accurately report progress, deadlines, inventory needs, crew issues and client communication.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on safety and code compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and concerns to the best of your ability.
