Responsibilities:
- Operate company provided snow plowing equipment to remove snow and ice from both commercial and residential roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
- Maintain accurate records of plowing routes, hours worked, and materials used.
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding conditions, equipment issues, and completed tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe operations of equipment.
- Maintaining good attendance and arriving as promptly as possible for each snow event you are called for.
- Hours will typically be between 11:00pm to 8:00am. We are also hiring a few daytime operators. Please note: hours and times could fluctuate more or less based on routes, snow event, and/or weather conditions.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to and from loader location.
- Previous experience operating salt spreader or similar heavy machinery preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety.
- Must be 18 years or older to work nighttime hours.
Keep in Mind: A seasonal winter position can easily lead to a seasonal spring or full-time position. Please let us know if you are looking for year-round employment.
