Job Description
Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide skilled sign language interpretation services for a middle school student in Bellevue, WA, from September 3, 2025, through June 17, 2026. This contract position involves in-person support, with a possible extension depending on scheduling needs such as snow days. The role requires availability one day prior to the start date for planning purposes.
Key responsibilities include interpreting classroom instruction and munications to facilitate effective learning and participation for the student, collaborating with teachers and staff to support accessible educational experiences, and maintaining a professional and supportive environment.
