What you'll do Docusign is looking for Senior Engineers to join our development team. This position will be part of a team working on Docusign's Platform responsible for high scale and low latency service. The service will deliver a No-Code Business Process Automation framework that allows administrators or delegates to build agreement management workflows without having any coding experience. This role requires critical thinking skills, quick understanding of existing systems, and the ability to work in agile environments. A passion for building quality experiences to make it easier for customers to manage their users is essential. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering. Responsibilities Design and develop fault-tolerant, scalable systems. Develop high-quality, test-covered code. Create web-scale services following microservices principles, deployed with containerized cloud tech, enabling non-coders to build simple business processes. Collaborate with Product Management and teams to translate requirements into designs and estimates. Implement robust, fault-tolerant systems to ensure reliability in diverse environments. Participate in cross-site teams for design, implementation, testing, and release. Apply industry best practices for resilient software architecture, prioritizing stability and customer satisfaction. Job Designation Hybrid: Combines in-office and remote work, with a minimum of 2 days/week in-office. What you bring Basic 8+ years of development experience or equivalent. Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Experience with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems. Proficiency in C#, Go, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages. Preferred Experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP). Building Cloud Native Services with REST APIs, Microservices, container tech (K8S, Docker). Designing and troubleshooting large-scale web services. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with high-scale distributed systems, fault-tolerant design, Agile, TDD, CI/CD, regional cloud deployments.
