Job Description:Exciting Opportunity at MSK: The Proteomics Group at Sloan Kettering Institute (SKI) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, innovative and motivated Senior Research Technician to support projects across the different programs of MSKCC. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing proteomic experiments as well as for maintaining and operating mass spectrometers and HPLC systems.
The Senior Research Technician will perform research activities in collaboration with internal/external personnel to complete science-based projects. Works on laboratory experiments/projects of moderate scope to resolve a variety of issues. Normally receives general instructions while making detailed observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results according to laboratory procedures. Responsible for mentoring junior lab members. The Senior Research Technician may assist in developing new methods and technologies for project advancement and participate in scientific journals.
