Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Engineer to oversee and drive compliance across key environmental programs, including Drinking Water, Wastewater, Soil & Groundwater Protection, Hazardous Waste, and Air Permitting. In this pivotal role, you will ensure adherence to IDEM and EPA regulations, manage environmental projects, and represent the site in all regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years in environmental regulations (RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Wastewater, Soil & Groundwater Protection, etc.).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong background in environmental compliance project management
• Familiarity with Clean Water Act, Drinking Water, and Groundwater regulations
