About the Role

The Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel - Senior Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a small legal department with a strong focus on project execution and sales matters in the United States and Canada. This role involves providing expert legal advice, detailed claims analysis, and engaging in the full spectrum of contract-related activities, including drafting, negotiation, and internal governance. The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier US law school, a solid foundation from undergraduate studies, and at least 6 years of legal work experience, with a preference for those who have spent a minimum of 2 years at an American Law 100 firm, particularly with a focus on energy or infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities for the Corporate Counsel - Senior Specialist include evaluating complex legal situations, preparing detailed analyses of project claims, and drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents. The role requires a professional with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and work effectively in a global organization. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, have a strong organizational ability, and be capable of managing their time efficiently. Additionally, the role demands a high level of judgment, leadership, decision-making, and critical reasoning skills, as well as the ability to work closely with senior management and legal professionals.
