Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our project team. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes with hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. The consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP SD solutions, analyzing business requirements, conducting root cause analysis for issues, and providing effective resolutions aligned with business objectives.


This role requires in-depth knowledge of S/4HANA capabilities, Fiori applications, and integration with other functional modules, ensuring seamless business operations and continuous process improvements.



Role & Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end S/4HANA SD implementations including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze complex OTC scenarios and provide scalable solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and provide timely functional resolutions.
• Configure and support core SD processes such as:
• Sales order management (standard, third-party, make-to-order, and make-to-stock scenarios)
• Delivery and shipment processing
• Advance Returns Management
• Billing processes including milestone billing, project-based billing, and revenue recognition
• Support E2E shipment cost management processes and carrier payments
• Manage pricing procedures, condition techniques, and output management for customer communications.
• Work with Fiori apps for SD operations, analytics, and approvals.
• Perform data migration activities using the S/4HANA LTMC tool, including master data and transactional data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, PP, PS, and Settlement Management) to ensure seamless integration.
• Good to have Settlement management hands-on experience for Customer, Commissions & Royality rebates for E2E settlement processes.
• Participate in system testing (SIT/UAT) and support end-user training and documentation.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives for SD-related processes.
• Proficiency in LTMC / LTMOM data migration tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP SD experience implementation/rollouts.
• At least 1 full-cycle S/4HANA SD implementation.
• Strong hands-on configuration knowledge in S/4HANA SD with new advanced functions
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Experience of working within a formal project methodology ASAP and Agile frame works

Account Context:


Client is the in to building solutions and manufacturing industry giant and into related products in North America. The S4 HANA Green field implementation is in progress in phased go live approach. Client is implementing key global S4 HANA implementation template for all plants.

• Interview Duration around 45 mins
• Client COE team will conduct the interview
• May start with Process oriented questions
• In depth evaluation of specific module (technically/functionally)
• May ask to Showcase/narrate any complex/challenging project/deliverables worked in the tenure
• Make sure to ask logical/professional Qs to the Client at the end
