Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Type of Role: Contract to Hire

Shift / Hours: possibly starting 6p-2:30am, must work 6pm-6am if needed

Location: Selma, Tx 78154

Role and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, workstations and other areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Use appropriate cleaning agents, chemicals, and tools in a safe and effective manner
• Ensure that all surfaces are free from allergens, debris, and any residues that may affect food safety or quality
• Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and safety shoes as required
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks
• Assist with setting up and cleaning production areas before, during, and after production runs
• Maintain and operate sanitation equipment and ensure that equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition

Skills and Experience:

• Must have sanitation experience
• Understanding of sanitation practices and safety procedures in a food production environment
• Bilingual preferred
