The Sales Engineer position is responsible for providing first-class customer service, technical support for our sales representative force, quotations, sales presentations, and customer entertainment. The position will involve constant interaction with end users, engineers, contractors, and our EVAPCO sales representatives. The successful candidate must possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build relationships with other Industrial Refrigeration Marketing Team members and EVAPCO's Independent Sales Representative network. The Industrial Refrigeration Marketing Team interfaces with all other departments within the company, sales offices throughout North America, and directly with customers. The position involves developing sales and marketing tools, in addition to offering product application support and pricing assistance for EVAPCO's hygienic air handling units (CPA, EDF, and ECA) and EVAPCO's factory-built penthouse evaporators (SSTP) that serve the Food & Beverage markets. Key responsibilities: Provide timely and accurate responses to all customers, sales representatives, and co-workers. Give in-person and remote technical sales presentations to customers. Develop production solutions and provide timely quotations. Create order entry and submittal documentation. Participate in industry related trade associations. Create marketing brochures, engineering bulletins, and technical white papers. Research industry and provide comparative analysis on other forms of technology. Evaluate project specifications, product schedules, and design drawings. Test unit selection software during updates. Travel to North American IR representative offices and customer locations.
