Research Assistant

Morrisville, North Carolina

Our client is a GLP contract research laboratory that designs and conducts customized in vitro and in vivo laboratory services for any research and method development need. Their team of scientists, researchers, and technicians offer innovative and practical approaches with the flexibility of academia but with GLP quality and unmatched efficiency.

Essential functions:

• Rodent dosing (oral gavage, i.p, subQ, i.v.)
• Clinical observations and body weights
• Necropsies
• Tissue/blood sample collection and processing
• Support conduct of GLP in vitro and in vivo studies
• Study data documentation under GLP guidelines
• All duties performed on an as-needed basis

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year of college level biology education
• At least 2 years of GLP laboratory experience
• Ability to work standing or sitting for long periods at a time
• Very strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions
• Works well as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines under stress
• Detail oriented
• Adaptable to change
• Fast learner
• Ability to multi-task effectively
