As a nursing student, would you like the opportunity to be in an acute care inpatient clinical setting while working under the direction of a nurse?
We are seeking nursing students , who are interested in our Student Nurse Extern program starting the week of December 16, 2024! Student Nurse Externs provide hygiene/comfort measures and selected direct and indirect patient care activities and ancillary duties for our patients. This position is for BOTH Wilmington and Newark campuses.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The nurse extern will demonstrate skills and knowledge vital to deliver care appropriate to a diverse patient population, including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to acquire information to identify patient needs, and to provide the appropriate care needed.
