Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS encouraged but not required

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Basic computer knowledge required


Description:
We are looking for nurses with a passion for surgical nursing and patient advocacy.
Our OR/CVOR has 13 operating rooms and averages 650 cases per month.
Our cases include general surgery, orthopedics, neurological, cardiovascular, plastics, ENT, urology, and gynecological procedures.
We have a highly skilled, dedicated team of patient advocates that work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Technology utilized includes robotic surgical systems and hybrid ORs for advanced procedures.


Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care for assigned patients and lead within the nursing team.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients served.
Collaborate with all members of the health care team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and families.


Skills:
Experience with a variety of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and patient safety protocols.
Knowledge in managing surgical instruments and equipment effectively.
Ability to work in high-stress environments and remain calm in emergencies.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.
