This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with patients and wants to make a real difference in their dental health journey.Key Responsibilities:- Expanded Patient Care: provide expanded dental assisting services, including but not limited to placement and removal of rubber dams, application of topical anesthetics, and administration of local anesthesia.- Chairside Assistance: anticipate the dentist's needs and ensure smooth workflow throughout dental procedures by preparing, sterilizing, and passing instruments. Assist in a variety of procedures, including endo, perio, and ortho.- Dental Radiography: perform and process dental radiographs (x-rays).- Patient Education: educate patients on post-operative care instructions and preventative measures to maintain optimal oral health. Answer questions and address concerns with empathy.- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases in the dental office.
