Position: Psychiatrist – Region 1
Location: Toledo, OH
Shift/Hours: 40 hours/week, typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may flex hours as needed; no weekends/holidays)
Duration: 6 Months + (Long term)

Job Summary
Provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care to patients, including medication management and psychotherapy. Works collaboratively with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure high-quality psychiatric care. May participate in professional education and training.

Key Responsibilities
•    Evaluate, examine, diagnose, and treat patients; prescribe medication and provide in-depth psychotherapy and counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavior modification).
•    Monitor and coordinate professional and paraprofessional staff in psychiatric care areas; review patient records for accuracy and completeness; recommend staffing and organizational improvements.
•    Conduct and participate in lectures, seminars, or training programs in psychiatry for healthcare staff.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•    Knowledge of medicine, psychology, sociology, anatomy, and physiology.
•    Skill in administering medications and providing psychiatric care.
•    Ability to define problems, collect data, interpret technical material, and determine a course of action.
•    Ability to handle sensitive interactions with patients and staff.

Required Licenses/Certifications
•    State medical license
•    DEA certification
•    CPR certification (healthcare professional level)
