Project Engineer - Construction (General Contractor)

Everett, WA

Are you a PE in the North End who would love to work closer to home? Join a dynamic and growing local Commercial GC with upcoming projects in the Everett and Marysville areas. If you have at least a year of commercial construction experience in a PE role, then this may be the right job for you!

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Project Architects, Designers, owners, and field personnel.
• Generate Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals.
• Inspect work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Manage project subcontractors.
• Understand the project budget and assist with buyouts.
• Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis; provide timely and accurate quality reports, and raise issues to PM or Superintendent as needed.
• Generate project punch list and closeout documentation.

Project Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least one year of demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer.
• Multi-story project experience needed, such as office, multifamily, self-storage, or high rise.
• Excellent communication skills required for interaction with vendors, designers, consultants, and clients.
• MS Project and Excel experience.
