Prior Authorization Nurse LPN/RN.

About the Job:
Caring Hearts Homecare is looking to hire a part-time nurse (LPN/RN) as a Prior Authorization Specialist, someone who is self-driven, responsible, organized, and pays attention to details.

Qualifications:

• Must be a nurse (LPN/RN).
• Must have home care experience as an LPN/RN.
• Have experience in Prior Authorization submission processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively as an LPN/RN.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in completion of Prior Authorization document requests as an LPN/RN.
• Review Prior Authorization documents for completion and accuracy as an LPN/RN.
• Submit Prior Authorization requests to appropriate insurance companies for approval as an LPN/RN.
• Track submitted PA requests.
• Audit to ensure PAs are in place for all patients as an LPN/RN.
• In charge of PA appeals and follow up on any additional requests for documents needed for PA approval as an LPN/RN.
• Manage and maintain tracking PA tool as an LPN/RN.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
