-6 shifts per month open 24 hour shifts with 12 hour night time midlevel coverage 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
-Patients seen per shiftaverage 15 to 20 in a 24 hr. shift
-$190.00 per hour, sign on bonus may be possible
-Only physician in the emergency room
-Transfers are done by ground or air to Bangor, Maine, closest tertiary care center 3 hours away by ground and 1 hour by helicopter.
-ER physicians do cover the inpatient Code and/or Rapid response.
-Annual volume6,500
-Certifications required are ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
-Requires ER Certification, FP or IM Board Certification with minimum 2 years full time ER experience
