Job Description

Office Furniture Showroom/Dealer located in Edison, NJ is seeking to hire a Temporary to Permanent Part-time Showroom Concierge. This role will require 15-20 hours/week with a flexible schedule. This is a small office of 4-10 people and a great opportunity to have your hands in many pots. Pay rate up to $20/hour during the temp period with a base salary will be in-line depending on the # of hours you can commit to.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Order and stock office supplies and snacks
• Keep office neat and tidy- there is a cleaning company but there are a few areas they do not clean so those need to be dusted
• Check showroom email
• Manage showroom schedule - help set up for any lunch meetings, other meetings with waters, snacks, etc.
• Work with sales reps on lunch presentations giving them final headcount, helping them set up, etc

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of work experience in a customer-facing role
• Positive outlook; welcoming and approachable personality
• Demonstrate professionalism in manner, attire, and communication
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to remain calm and patient while showing respect and flexibility with sales, operations and clients
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of people within and outside of the office
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn and use new computer programs/applications
• Good organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
