Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Dental/Surgical Assistant to join our team! As an Oral Surgeon Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the doctor during exams and procedures. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Dental Assistant and is x-ray certified. If youre friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic oral surgery experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Assist the surgeon during procedures and exams

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the oral surgery care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Take vital signs and accurately record anesthesia, biopsy, implant and bone grafting reports
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the doctor for exams and procedures
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
• Capture PAN and bitewing images

Qualifications

• Current DANB certification
• Dental assistance experience
• Breaking down and setting up operatory rooms
• Sterilization
• Ability to follow office protocols and oral surgery procedures
• Positive attitude
• Team player
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
